As an example serves a Nilpeter letterpress printing machine B-3000 of which the unwind, the infeed, the printing unit supports and the rotary die cutting unit with rewind are being used. For the booklet feeder unit, the established ATIQS BF-320 with an optimized feeding width of 330 mm instead of 320 mm is being used.
The machine produces booklets with min. 35 mm to max. 330 mm feeding width and can be operated with a speed of up to 60 m/min. The intended extension with additional printing units can be effected without difficulty. With a footprint of 6,5 x 1,8 x 2,4 m (L x W x H) a compact machine configuration has been developed.
In the course of the optimization of the base machine to 340 mm web width, all drives have been refitted to servo drives whereas now the rotary die cutting unit can also produce exactly with 360° register adjustment and control. The booklets are fixed on the web by means of a self-adhesive lamination or a hot glue coating head with 350 mm application surface. The feeding accuracy of the system is +/- 0,1 mm at use of one registration mark per feeding position.

With the RETROFIT package, ATIQS is modifying conventional label converters into heavy-duty machines with controlled tensile stress measurement, also for film and shrink material. The RETROFIT package consists of control unit and control modules of Jetter AG with operating panel, mechanical accessories like gears and servo motors, sensors and holders. The retrofit only requires the disassembly of all existing mechanical components and of the sensitive sensor system.

2009-02-19 - REGITRON for rotary die cutting
For printing unit models with phase shifter gear boxes we have developed a special, quickly adaptable coupling with high-resolution rotary encoder.
This optimisation can now be offered as a cost-saving variant to the register control for direct assembly. Thus an optimal position control of the die-cutting cylinder is guaranteed and due to the approved gear box automatically kept on the register. The retrofit kit can be mounted directly at the die-cutter mainly by the printing unit user himself with minimum effort.

We have successfully installed an ATLANTIC ZEISER Omega inkjet system to a NILPETER B-3000 press. Our customer will be able to personalise and/or individualise his products while actually printing at the same time. In addition, we equipped the press with an ATLANTIC ZEISER braillejet system! Our quick set-up mounting system allows the change of the inkjets to any printing station in the press.

ATIQS GmbH develops a mobile lamination unit for an ARSOMA EM410. The unit serves for the de- and relamination of print webs with extremely short set-up times at maximum production speed.
2008-01-10 - Installation of retrofit Hotair-System to a Nilpeter FA3300
The ATIQS hot-air retrofit equipment contains a central blow- and suction ductwork, mounted to a free standing framework. An operator terminal mounted to the control centre of the printing machine, allows the operator to run each printing unit with adjustable hot-air temperature. The air distribution is arranged to each printing unit by flexible hoses. The discharge flow is regulated by automatic air shutters.
2007-11-07 - Booklet- and RFID positioning device
The atIQs variable multi row grid pattern Booklet- and RFID positioning device can be implemented into any label printing press. The feeder device consists of a patent feeder system, in which driving pins are quickly be exchanged, to adapt to the booklet length. Through the precision of the feeder system and the adjustable guiding rails, the products are moved on a metal conveyor to the positioning point, simultaneous to the web speed.
In a look into position station, the products are fixed by a self-adhesive foil or a hotmail application. This atIQs system is providing the quickest set up time available, even multi rows of booklet or other products are fed on the conveyor. Also, the easy adjustment of the guide rails makes this system to best user friendly feeder device on the market.

The printing machines can be freely arranged at the screen in order to cope with the real environment. Show your staff – without any instruction – the state of affairs.
